Hi John,

I’m no OpenSUSE user, but I assume OpenSUSE ships the regular Gnome “Window List” applet.

If so, the configuration option you’ve been looking for can be found in the taskbar’s “Preferences” dialog. You can open the dialog by right-clicking the handle on the very left of the taskbar widget. Depending on your GTK the taskbar handle might be hard to spot.
